Let him have tummy time laying on your chest. Just bracket him side to side with your hands, for balance. Helps with the head control. And as for pushing up with his arms, a lot of babies scoot first, or even go straight from scooting to pulling up without even stopping at what we think of as crawling.LorelieLonghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15220062855253889790noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12619517.post-51289205132872836012007-11-21T21:00:00.000-08:002007-11-21T21:00:00.000-08:00One more thing: maybe you don't want to be in such...One more thing: maybe you don't want to be in such a hurry with the tummy time. My som went through the same thing with "tummy time" he still doesn't like it all that much but he learned to push up with his arms. Try a boppy pillow (put his arms on it when you put him on his tummy).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12619517.post-32016345614132507162007-11-19T05:26:00.000-08:002007-11-19T05:26:00.000-08:00swaddle away, it will not hinder growth!swaddle away, it will not hinder growth!Rachelle Joneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15724965902279649268noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12619517.post-5702665359051278312007-11-17T20:24:00.000-08:002007-11-17T20:24:00.000-08:00He sounds fine to me.
